Many "diseases" of modern people are actually "created"

Many diseases are heart diseases.
When you deal with your emotions,
all problems,
Naturally solved.
back to life itself,
Find the meaning of your life.

Depression, which is often referred to in modern medicine, is actually caused by insufficient energy in the whole body in many cases from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine.
When a person's energy is low, his physical state will be low, and his inner state and consciousness state will also be low.
In the eyes of traditional Chinese medicine, it is meaningless to specifically analyze the types of depression and the diagnostic criteria for depression.
More importantly - what is the deep meaning behind the so-called psychological problems?

01

Depression is not enough energy
Modern medicine treats the body, emotion and consciousness separately, and the body and mind are treated as two things.
They are related and affect each other, called mind-body relationship, or belong to dualism.
However, from the perspective of Chinese medicine, body and mind are actually one thing, which is called the unity of body and spirit. The spirit of Chinese medicine includes heart and mind.
Depression, which is often referred to in modern medicine, is actually caused by insufficient energy in the whole body in many cases from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine.
We all know that even if you are usually a very positive and energetic person, if you don’t sleep for three consecutive days, you will be given two meals in three days, and then you will be asked to do a lot of work, at that time Can you still be energetic and active?
When our body's energy falls below a certain level, our ability to function mentally, consciously, and mentally declines.

For example, when the computer has enough memory and the programs are not so conflicting, you can run those programs with higher versions;
When the memory is not enough, those high-version programs, let alone running, cannot be downloaded, and can only run low-version programs.
Therefore, when a person's energy is low, his physical state will be low, and his inner state and consciousness state will also be low.
It is conceivable that in such a low-level state, when he communicates with all things in the world, he cannot digest many things, including food and emotions.
He couldn't do a lot of physical work or complex sports, and many things became obstacles.
There are also problems with the internal operation of the body, such as high blood pressure, high blood lipids, high blood sugar, or tachycardia, arrhythmia, these are actually the body can't load and can't run after the energy is low.
The same is true emotionally. When a person's energy is low, there may be some problems with his ability to express and accept.
In terms of consciousness, thinking, and social interaction, he may be relatively closed, and he may only absorb certain types of things he is willing to absorb, while rejecting others, and even beginning to reject things that he could absorb and digest before.
When he reaches this state, he actually becomes a "compressed person", and his form, qi, spirit, or in other words, body, mind, and will have all been compressed.
In a compressed state, the time, space, society and life he is in, and even everything around him, what he can and is willing to contact, is also compressed.
And just like that, he entered, a low-level cycle of inside and outside, but he wasn't necessarily aware of it.
Once he reaches this state, because he has entered a low-level cycle, he will go down as a whole in body and mind.
Everyone may understand that when we say that someone is depressed now, most people will think that this is just a psychological problem.
But in fact it is definitely not a simple psychological problem, but a whole life problem.

02

Disease is just a name,

We need to understand its roots

We need to think about it.

First question: Is depression just a brain problem?

The current medical view is that depression, or all psychological problems, is caused by chemical changes in the brain.

For example, dopamine, a neurotransmitter, mental state and mood can be affected by changes in the concentration of this substance.

Much of the current research on psychotropic drugs is based on this understanding. Is depression really just a change in the brain's chemical transmitters?

The second question: Is the mind first sick or the body first sick?

Modern medicine and psychology believe that this is a problem of the mind and the mind, so people suffering from depression and certain mental illnesses take a lot of drugs that inhibit these chemical elements or make the mind stop working.

But after so many years of practice, the effect is not very good.

For a whole person, is his attitude towards life, way of life; changes in his emotion, thinking, cognition, and behavior patterns only due to changes in these chemical substances? Will it be upside down?

Could it be because of problems with our body, mind, and mind that these chemical changes have occurred?

Just like when I was in class, because there was a class, I lit a stick of incense, is the incense the reason for our class?

No, it's because of the incense, not only the incense, but also the light and the sound, which we call "the by-product of simultaneous appearance".

Is there a logical loophole in the thinking of Western medicine in the cognition of psychological problems?

Look for cause and effect in parallel, correlated phenomena. Logically, the cause and the effect should be the difference between the first and the last, the root and the second.

It's like a seed grows into a tree, but you can't say that this leaf, these flowers and the bugs on the leaf are what made the tree.

It should be noted that this question is raised because not only do many patients accept a simple explanation of their current state, but doctors may also think so.

People are easily brainwashed. What the popular media says, what the doctor says, is what it is.

But if we don't investigate the root cause and find the cause, our disease cannot be cured, and the problem cannot be solved either.
Question 3: Why is modern depression more and more common?

We all know that: everyone has unhappy times or stages, and everyone has many emotions.

But why suddenly there is such a concept of depression? And more and more people get "depression"? This is a very strange thing.

The culture of our time does not accept these normal emotions, fears this unhappy state, and believes that a person's unhappiness for a certain period of time, without the strength to maintain a "as before" life, is unacceptable, is not normal.

Behind this, everyone thinks that people should always be very high, very proud, confident, and actively working hard. Is this really normal?

Just like there are spring, summer, autumn and winter in a year, this is a law and a natural state, but some people only like spring and summer, not autumn and winter.

So they resist autumn and winter, and because of resistance, they are more likely to get sick or feel uncomfortable in autumn and winter.

What I want to say is: Many disease names, or many diseases, are actually created by us.

In other words: we don't accept life as it is, we force it to retain only its aspects, and life begins to distort, to deform, to go wrong.

Like a flowing river, we stop it from flowing naturally.

I went to graduate school in 1997 to study psychology and psychosomatic medicine, and I started reading psychology books when I was in college.

We all know the older generation. At that time, there was no diagnosis of these depression and anxiety disorders. There were only two types: one was called neurasthenia.

At that time, all those who were unhappy, couldn't think about it, and couldn't sleep were called neurasthenia; some of them directly criticized you for not being firm in your will and not being active in your thoughts... They belong to ideological problems.

The commonly used drugs for neurasthenia are two drugs, one is oryzanol, and the other is vitamin B complex.

Around the 1980s, a new disease name began to appear, called menopausal syndrome.

Before this, there was no such disease in medical dictionaries or textbooks. By the 1990s climacteric syndrome began to be "common".

Then you will find that many middle-aged women come to ask excitedly, doctor, I have not been able to sleep well recently, dizzy, forgetful, distracted, easily nervous, hot flashes, night sweats, menstrual disorders... Is this the menopause? Ah?

The doctor said, um, you are menopause.

Neither the doctor nor the patient cares: what is the root cause behind this, just need an explanation, find that "many people are like this", and then feel at ease.

There is one thing that impressed me deeply. When I was an intern in the third and fourth year of the university, after the patient spoke hastily, the doctor said categorically, "It's okay, you are in menopause, and the patient is relieved all of a sudden.

It should be noted that the reason why we need many diseases to be "clearly diagnosed" is that we need an explanation, just like we need to be classified, we need order, we need road signs and guiding lights...

In some senses, our hearts need an explanation, and many people don't care whether this explanation comes from reality.

Later, I read the viewpoint of one of the people in Western psychology. It was very interesting. He said: For these people who are at a loss, when one person tells him that you have this problem, others also have this problem.

He no longer felt isolated or heretical, and he was relieved.

Then, in the 1990s, I found that depression and anxiety disorders began to occur, and there were not many at that time. When I studied psychosomatic medicine in 1997, this discipline was still very unpopular.

By 2000, some universities began to have psychology departments, the psychotherapy industry in China began to flourish, and a large number of drugs and a large number of targeted courses appeared.

I remember that some new diseases appeared around 2000. For example, depression began to be classified, including postpartum depression and senile depression. Depression in old age was called neurasthenia in the past.

This process is very interesting. It reminds me of the history of our country. Our parents’ generation has experienced the Cultural Revolution, and many of them are rightists and black fives.

My dad was branded a bourgeois reactionary academic authority at the time. This is actually a "diagnosis".

At that time, the diagnosis was so powerful that it would run through your life and even affect the fate of your next generation and future generations.

In the last three decades, society's perceptions have changed, and these "diagnostics" have disappeared.

Now the post-80s and post-90s don't know these things, but at that time, these things were more important than the sky.

Therefore, we must have the ability to observe, perceive, and think independently about many things in life.

In this way, you will not be easily led into a misunderstanding by others, casually creating diseases for yourself and suffering the pain of drifting with the crowd.

In a way, industries are feeding each other medicine.

Why give each other medicine? Because it's easy, easy, and easy to make money.

03

All diseases remind you:

back to life itself

In the eyes of traditional Chinese medicine, it is actually meaningless to specifically analyze the types of depression and the diagnostic criteria for depression.

What is behind all the so-called psychological problems?

It is about a person's physical and mental health, how much a person knows about himself, or whether a person is willing to understand the real self and the real world.

Know what's wrong with you;

Know how you need to deal with these issues;

Understand how your mind, body and mind are changing in the exchange between your inner and outer worlds and the outside world.

Because life is inherently ups and downs, joys and sorrows, joys and sorrows, everything is like this.

The same is true of physical health. When a person's health is not very good during this period, if he knows that this is a normal process.

He would not panic and search for traditional Chinese medicine or Western medicine everywhere, and let people prescribe a bunch of medicines to make his body worse.

Through his own observation, or reminders from others, or reading and thinking, he will look back to see how his relationship with his family, friends, etc. is going to see if he is being too strict with himself;

He may also use some external references to realize whether he has been too closed, or he is insisting on something that does not necessarily need to be insisted on, and is maintaining something that does not need to be maintained by himself.

At the same time, pay attention to your diet, sleep, exercise, where there are blind spots that you didn't realize before, and whether your life is too monotonous.

When he came back and saw the problems, the adjustment had already started automatically. After a period of time, both physical and psychological problems will improve or disappear.

In fact, the essence of medicine should be like this. Whether it is Chinese medicine or Western medicine, the original essence is here.

Through problems and illnesses, through emotions and phenomena, to see our consciousness, beliefs and roots of what is really wrong.

Then adjust yourself from the source, give birth to changes and wisdom, and live more and more happier and happier. Instead of saying: You are sick, you need to take medicine, you can't stop.

If taking medicine and asking for help can really solve the problem, our disease will not be cured more and more, are you right?
